For installation

Match the operating system and processor with the application you plan to use. Windows x64, Windows on ARM and a Mac with Apple Silicon are different choices. Preserve configuration and unfinished transfers before updating an established client.

For connection problems

Record the server connection, ID status and separate Kad status. A missing starting contact, an unreachable incoming port and a file without useful sources need different next steps. Change one setting, observe the result and keep a note of what worked.
