An independent website
eMule.co.uk is an independent information and download website. It is not the official eMule project and does not develop the eMule client. The software is free and open source under its own GPL licence.
How downloads are described
We distinguish the official stable branch from the community branch listed by the project. Our download page identifies the source, architecture options and the checksum of the local mirrored installer. A matching checksum establishes that the mirrored bytes match the referenced file; it does not replace checking whether software is appropriate for your computer.
Current guides and older articles
Setup guides explain the current release and network configuration. English editions of older articles retain their original addresses. Articles about retired products, historical news or old opinions are marked as archive material so they are not mistaken for a new recommendation.
What we check
Release information is checked against the official project. Network instructions link to project documentation and server-list sources. Review dates describe when a page was checked; a dated list of server endpoints is not a live uptime monitor.
Website features
The search searches our English guide and article index. Advertising may be supplied by Google, and visits are measured with Matomo. See the privacy and terms page for website information.
